Founded by Dr. Maria Reyes in 2015 on a simple idea: a dental visit should feel calm, human, and clear. A decade on, that's still the brief.
SmileCore Dental Clinic was founded in 2015 by Dr. Maria Reyes — a UP-trained dentist who had spent years watching patients dread an experience that, in her view, didn't have to feel that way.
The brief was simple: a clinic that meets the technical bar of the best practices in Manila, but feels closer to walking into a thoughtfully designed home. Modern equipment, warm interiors, no jargon, and the time it takes to actually answer a patient's questions.
A decade later, SmileCore has grown into a team of three licensed dentists and two dental assistants, serving over three thousand patients across Lucena City and the wider Quezon Province. The brief hasn't changed.
Going to the dentist should never feel scary. That's the standard everything else in this clinic is built on.

James handles our surgical caseload — from straightforward extractions to wisdom teeth and pre-implant work. Patients consistently note how gently he explains every step before it happens.
Sofia leads our children's program. Her appointments feel more like a visit to a kind, curious friend — and her young patients almost always ask when they can come back.
